The iBook Experience in Apple iPad
Apple iPad has many wonderful iPad apps and an amazing User Interface, but among them there is one application that has been the centre of everybody’s talking. The iBook, instead of being just an application, gives a real life pleasure exactly like reading a physical volume in hand. Its excellent features, ease of use, adjustable fonts makes the boring experience of going through an eBook a lot enjoyable. Apple has always been known to bring normal technology in the pack of a new exciting entertainment; the iBook app in Apple iPad added one more feather in its crown.
Fetching a book from its store is done by slight flip of finger from its shelf, which looks like just a wooden bookshelf. The eBook open in dual page format or in single page according to the alignment of the iPad tablet. Turning pages has an excellent animation, quite like the experience of turning page from a physical volume. It has several adjustment buttons like chapter change, brightness control, font sizing & search menu. Other facilities like copy, paste, bookmarking & search drop down menu comes by the gentle and longer push of fingertips.
There was long discussion and anticipation if Apple iPad will be able to replace Digital eBook readers like Amazon Kindle and others but after seeing iBook nobody will vouch for any eBook reader anymore. Apart from the pricing, iBook alone made an end of comparison of Apple iPad with eBook Readers.
