Apple Restricts Adobe Flash Players on iPhone
Adobe has many attempts from its part to port its flash player in to iPhone or ipod touch to enable users of apple iPhone to display flash based webpages and other flash graphics.
Previously when you visit the flash plugin page to download there will be message stating “no version was available for the platform you were using” but now it reads:
“Apple restricts use of technologies required by products like Flash Player. Until Apple eliminates these restrictions, Adobe cannot provide Flash Player for the iPhone or iPod touch.”
Adobe is definitely not happy with Apple’s policy restricting iphone users to use flash plugin and I even doubt that Apple will take it any seriously but on the other hand users of iphone are certainly fired up with this restrictions which Apple should take in to consideration.
Reason why Apple restricts flash player on ipod touch or iphone is still a mystery but its notable that there has been a message from adobe previously that Flash CS5 Professional would let developers to make new applications in Flash that can be made to run on iPhones.
