Remember that CrunchPad that Mike Arrington from TechCrunch was working for quite a while? The device was supposed to come in under $200 and basically be a glorified internet browser.

Well it is now dead and Fusion Garage says they have one Fusion Garage Joojoo Tablet which will be unveiled to the world this Friday (December 11th). The device is UNIX-based and carries a 12.1-inch capacitative touch screen as well as weighing in at 2.4 pounds, 4GB SSD and WiFi but no 3G. There is not a physical button on the device except for the power button and the asking price is a mind shattering $499.
