If we’re to believe PlayStation Insider, Firefox might be coming to the PS3 in the future. According to an anonymous tipster, Sony is in talks with Mozilla on porting their ever so popular opensource browser to the PS3.
While its still a rumor, we wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t play out to be true, as the PS3′s browser needs work and Sony is pumping up the PS3. All in all this would be a great addition to the system, but is it just me or is Firefox becoming bloated? Either way, Redmond needs to step up their game a bit.

Looks like this one was a dead-duck story. I’m pretty excited for the PS3 firmware update this summer to support 3D…maybe once that effort is done, they can focus on the clumbsy browser that ships with that system. Pretty cluncky and slow.
