Ubuntu is an wonderful operating system. I installed Ubuntu 7.10 in my laptop last week and I am loving evey moment I use it.

One of the best features of Ubuntu is its stunning graphics. By dafault only three options are enabled for Visual effects : None, Normal and Extra

Here is how you can enable “Custom” Visual effects so tat you can customize more.

1. Open Terminal (Applications -> Accessories ->Terminal)

2. Type in sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager and press Enter

Now customize visual effects by opening System -> Preference -> Advanced Desktop Effects Settings.
