For all my international readers this trick is for Airtel connection in India (www.airtelworld.com) and not www.airtel.com.

I have seen lot of free GPRS hack for Airtel in the Internet and most of them don’t work. So why not pay only for what you use. The normal GPRS recharge costs you 250 rupees.

Here is the setting for your mobile

1. Create a new Data Account with APN as airtelfun.com
2. Now create a new Internet profile with the following setting and assign this profile to use the above Data Account
   1. Use proxy : Yes
   2. Proxy Address : 100.1.200.99
   3. Port Number : 8080

This is a wap account and I use it to read news through my RSS reader in phone and browse the Internet with Opera Mini. I haven’t tried using this with a PC. Let me know whether this works for you.

And don’t fall for these kind of fake messages. :). Look at the number of replies. Now he has all your email addresses.
